This was during the Oak Harbor, Whidbey Island, 40th annual Holland Happenings parade. There were about 50+
memorial photos/banners being carried of all the fallen soldiers, sailors and marines from Washington State. It was an emotional moment when they walked by.
In respect for the honorable men and women who served and currently serving and protecting our country, DO NOT turn this into a political forum.
I am a former Army veteran and my children are 4th generation military, my son served in the Marines in both Afghanistan and Iraq; and my daughters will be serving this year after high school graduation June 2010 in the Air Force.
