It was interesting this year, the flowers seemed to have a lighter mixed colored look to them, the red tulips weren't as dark red as they used to be.

Very beautiful, and I was about to note their "blushiness" - they do seem to be a light red.

Our tulips that our gardener put in last year are sprouting... later in MI than WA, methinks. Small crocus, hyacinth and buttercups are out, tho. If we get any sun soon, mebbee I'll drag my camera outside.

We seemed to be missing winter this winter/spring. But last night we got hit with hail. And it really threw the tulips into a spin because of this weather has been off.
